FAQ

All pre-orders will ship within 12—28 BUSINESS DAYS of your order date. If your order contains a combination of in stock and pre-order items, your entire order will ship once your pre-order items are available. You may request to have your in stock items shipped immediately by contacting hello@thesaltwatercollective.com.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your products for a refund, exchange or store credit within 21 days from the date that your order was shipped. Please submit your return through our Return / Exchange Portal.

A return label will be automatically generated for you, and a restocking fee will apply to each return / exchange.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & STORE CREDITS

Regularly priced merchandise may be returned for a refund, store credit, or exchanged for a different product.

Store credits do not expire and are eligible for use on any Saltwater products. All refund may take up to 14 business days to appear on your bank statement. Refunds are issued on the same form of payment used to make the purchase.

All garments must be in brand new and unused condition to be eligible for a return (e.g. tags attached, hygienic liners intact, no stains, tears, or other soiling including pet hair, makeup, deodorant residue or odors). Damaged or soiled product will be returned to sender and will be ineligible for a refund, store credit or exchange.

We ask that you mail all returns in their original packaging when possible. We thank you in advance for avoiding the use of plastic packaging and mailers when completing your return.  

Returns from outside Canada & the US: Unfortunately we cannot provide return labels outside of North America at this time. Please provide our customer care team with a tracking number for your return. If you ship your item back to us without tracking and the parcel gets lost in the mail, then we will not be able to proceed with your return.

All Intimates are FINAL SALE. No exceptions unless the product is damaged upon arrival.

ORDER ISSUES & ERRORS If there is an issue with your product or you have received incorrect or defective merchandise, please contact us at hello@thesaltwatercollective.com and we will be happy to assist you. 

SALES & DISCOUNTS All sale items and discounted items are considered final sale. These items will not be eligible for return.    

ORDER CANCELLATIONS If you change your mind about an order you have placed, we are more than happy to process a cancellation for you as long as your order has not been shipped. If you have received a shipment confirmation email from us, we will not be able to cancel your order. 

All payments can be made using Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard Amex & PayPal. All prices for Canadian customers are quoted and processed in CAD. All prices for US and International customers are quoted and processed in USD.

If your bank or credit card uses a currency other than CAD or USD, the conversion rate will be determined by your banking provider. We have no control over international exchange rates. Please contact your bank or credit card provider with any questions in regards to exchange rates.

Orders over $500.00 qualify for free shipping and will be shipped via Canada Post with tracking (4-10 business days)

USA

Orders over $300.00 qualify for free shipping and will be shipped via USPS Express Post with tracking (4-15 business days)

We ship to most countries worldwide.

HOW DO I WASH MY SWIMSUIT? We recommend that you rinse your suit in cool water and hang to dry after exposure to chlorine or saltwater. To wash your suit, add a small (pea sized) drop of gentle, non bleach detergent to cool water and gently massage. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry in a shaded area. 

DO NOT tumble dry as this will compromise the elasticity of the fabric and deteriorate the suit.
